Museum in Marietta, EVP

MariettaSquareforWeb5We recorded this EVP during an investigation of one of the museums on the Marietta Square.  This particular museum wishes to remain nameless and we will always respect that.  We do have permission to release findings so long as they don’t contradict the agreement we have.

On the night of this investigation we investigated using two teams, the first team was made up of three investigators, all male, and once their sweep was complete the second team entered the building.  The second team had one female on it and was conducted by our Director and Assistant Director.  The EVP you are about to hear was captured by the second team.

Blackshear Home #1 EVP

Michele got this EVP during our first investigation of a home in Blackshear, GA.

She actually captured two voice’s on top of each other. We can’t rule out the louder voice being one of us though it sounds more like an EVP and is completely out of place in the full recording.  Listen closely and you will hear the loud voice (or EVP) covering the part of the first word of the second EVP. (Hope that makes sense)

RAW EVP

HGWI never enhances our recordings in any way when presenting them either to the public or to the owners of a location. We don’t speed them up or slow them down or play them backwards. But, as I got ready to post this EVP tonight, 10 years later, I wanted to see if I could isolated the second EVP from the first. I eliminated all the sounds higher than and lower than the EVP. Please note that the EVP itself was still never touched. I only removed frequencies around the EVP but did no enhancements to the actual sounds of the EVP.

This also makes the first EVP to be played for the public that isn’t in its raw form. Let me know what you think below.

ISOLATED EVP

We hear “Ok, Go for help!” in this EVP. Part of what makes this EVP special to us is that we learned that the home was the site of an awful tragedy in 1910. Could this be us hearing a moment shortly after where he is telling someone to go get help? .

Hot Dog Heaven EVP

DSCN5302

This EVP was recorded during our investigation of a Hot Dog Heaven, in Woodstock, Georgia.

Laurie recorded this EVP during her teams sweep of the restaurant. The area in which this EVP was captured both sensitives reported feeling a presence (both sensitives were on separate teams). Listen closely, this is still one of our favorite EVPs to date.

We hear “Yes, Ma’am” in an old fashion “southern” accent. This is an amazing EVP and it’s amazing to even hear an accent.

Spanish Military Hospital EVP

Hospital

This is one of the more creepy of the EVPs we recorded during our investigations of the Spanish Military Hospital in St. Augustine, FL.

In this recording by Ben you will hear Kevins voice at the beginning of the clip then an EVP of a not so friendly voice. The clip ends with a giggle from Michelle.

We hear “Get Out!” over the end of Kevin’s voice and just before Michelle’s giggle.

Lawrenceville Home EVP’s

David recorded this EVP during one of our investigations of this Private Home in Lawrenceville, GA. It was captured on the front porch as we were getting ready to enter the residence and begin the investigation.  By the end of the night we had recorded very little evidence.  We had no idea, at the time, that we had completed the most active investigation for EVP’s that we had yet to experience.  That record still stands today!

We hear “find a priest” which is a little freaky knowing that was said as we entered the home but we had no idea what we had recorded.

Tarleton Oaks EVP’s

Tarleton Oaks
TarletonOaksFront

Here are some of the EVPs we recorded during our first two investigations at Tarleton Oaks.

EVP 1
Ed got this EVP while in the dining room of the home. This EVP was taken shortly before Ben, who was running our base, reported hearing girls voices on the front porch of the bed and breakfast.

We hear “Ed… Come find us”.
What makes this EVP really cool is that Ben reported over the walkie-talkie that he was hearing the girls voices on the front porch. He said that it “sounded like little girls laughing, like little kids do when they are hiding for someone”

EVP 2
Laurie got this EVP while her team was sitting at the base of the staircase.

Moon River Brewery EVP’s

Moon River Brewery, Savannah, Georgia

These EVPs were recorded during the same investigation of Moon River Brewery in Savannah, Georgia.

EVP #1
Ed recorded this EVP during our investigation of the upper floors of Moon River. Listen closely after you hear Ed say “Flash”.  You will hear a whisper.

We recommend that you don’t click to see what we are hearing until after you have listened to the recording. This will give you a chance to hear it for yourself without the preconceived notion of what we think we are hearing.

EVP #2
This creepy EVP was also recorded by Ed as his team investigated the upper floors of the building. I call him the Mortician because of his creepy voice. We don’t feel there is any doubt what this voice is asking for…

Hells Church EVP

Hell’s Church, Canton Georgia.

This EVP, which sounds to us like an older woman, was caught as we were preparing to leave Hell’s Church. At the time of this recording, Laurie was the only woman near the recorder and her voice can be heard as the EVP begins. The voice was recorded over Laurie and you can still hear a little of her voice in the background.

We recommend that you don’t click to see what we are hearing until after you have listened to the recording. This will give you a chance to hear it for yourself without the preconceived notion of what we think we are hearing.

“We hear “it’s wonderful”. We wonder if the older woman is saying this to describe where she is or was she saying that she was happy we stopped by to visit?”
