Abbeville Home

We were asked to investigate this home by a member of the family that has heard the stories of the home being haunted all of her life.  This house has been in her family for over a hundred years but has abandoned for the last ten.  The fact that it has no ulilities created an investigators dream in that being without electricty it would be almost impossible for an EMF reading to be caused by something man made.  The house has been slated to be torn down in about a year so we, as investigators, needed to use the time the building has left to determine exactly how haunted it really is.

The logs below still have the sensitives time stamps because I am waiting for their final report.  Please note that we do not base our investigations on our sensitives but use them as an additional tool.  These logs simply have more sensitives entries because they recorded more activity than we recorded through scientific means.

When the investigation ended we sent a new team into this room after moving the camera for the DVR to record the door. When the team entered into the room the door again closed. The team placed door back to original position and after some experimentation found an area of the floor that when walked across would cause the door to close. Once this area was located the team could recreate the occurrence 100% of the time.

Our Conclusion
This investigation was a unique one in that almost every investigator had an experience in one form or an other and yet we walked away with no scientific evidence. We do feel because of the types of experiences that our investigators reported that is location very well may be haunted but we can not prove any such claim. Our conclusion, therefore, is that this location is paranormally active pending further investigations.
