Private Home in Harrietts Bluff

The owners of a home in Harriet's Bluff, GA asked if we would come do an investigation of their home. They had been observing shadows walking on their front porch, doors and curtains opening on themselves and even having an EVP show up on its own on the computer. We investigated to see if we could find evidence of their computer literate poltergiest. In the 6 years they had lived in this location, they had witnessed shadows pacing on their porch, captured many EVPs (many of which appeared by themselves on their computer), and noticed that their kitchen cabinets and living room curtains were opening on their own. The history of this home is that is was built in 1964, a person had died from old age in it and a murder had occured in it at some time.  The land was once part of a rice plantation and at an earlier time was part of a native american settlement.

Investigation Report

Team 1- Kimber & David Team 2- Laurie & Ben Base- Kevin & Amy Kitchen- Both teams had problems with their two way radios squealling uncontrollably at the end of the counter by the front door. Meter readings were captured by front door and by cabinet. Kimber felt a presence by the front door. Den- Several members reported feeling like they were being watched while in the den. No meter readings were recorded. First bedroom- Answering machine came on.  Phone and answering machine had been turned off before the investigation.  No meter readings or activity observed. Hallway- Several members of team reported a feeling of being watched in the hallway.  Kimber felt a presence in the hallway. Bathroom- Kimber’s recorder failed after only recording 30 minutes.  Both Kevin & Laurie reported a feeling of being watched when in bathroom alone.  Both reported a feeling of being followed from the bathroom. No meter readings were recorded. Second bedroom- No activity recorded Front yard- Unusual orb pictures were captured in front yard by small shed. Kimber reported a presence near tree beside house.

Historic Ghost Watch and Investigation Harrietts Bluff February 19, 2005 Team 1: David, Kimber Time of Event Phenomena Witnessed Location 9:15pm Investigation Begins   9:15pm Team begins in master bedroom   9:30pm We went dark on the bedroom side of the home.   9:37pm Home owner and daughter leave home through the back door.   9:42pm Team enters daughters bedroom   10:00pm Team finds that Kimbers recorder that was left in the bathroom is out of memory. Only recorded for 30 minutes.   10:05pm Infrared Video Camera out of tape Master Bedroom 10:35pm Kimber feels a presence near the front door. David gets a EMF meter reading behind Kimber at the front door. Two-way radio squeals uncontrollably by the front door at the cabinets. Kitchen/Den 10:36pm Team reports hearing a "tapping" noise on the front porch. Kitchen/Den 11:05pm Ben joins up with David outside to walk around the home and take pictures. Front Yard 11:10pm David reports that they are able to "track" something in the yard with the EMF meter. He also reported that "every time my meter goes off, we get a orb" on camera. Yard at left side of home. 11:25pm David reports the feeling of being watched from the hallway. Den 11:28pm Kimber as the feeling of a presence back toward back bedroom. Back yard of home. 10:04pm Laurie sits still with recorder.   10:15pm Team enters master bedroom.   10:28pm Team enters spare bedroom or daughters bedroom.   10:39pm Answering machine in daughters bedroom begin playing. Daughter informed team that both the phone and the answering machine had been turned off before the investigation began. Spare Bedroom 10:45pm Kevin had the feeling of being watched while in the bathroom. Bathroom 11:10pm Laurie had nervous and uneasy feelings while in the bathroom. She felt like she was being watched she reported that "it felt like I was being followed when I left". Bathroom

	The home owners reported that these cabinets opened by themselves. Front yard by day light. The homeowners reported that a spirit sits in this chair. View of hallway where several team members reported feeling uneasy. Pond in the front yard -Complete with dust orb. Small shed in front yard where EMF meter had readings.

Recorded EVPs

"Bad Joke", "Gary..."something "Bad joke"- Laurie & Ben were doing a vigil in the home's small bathroom. Laurie had just made a joke about the bathroom was going to be crowded if anyone was in there with them. Obviously someone didn't appreciate her sense of humor. "Gary" something?- Laurie and Ben were in the front yard when this name was captured being said. It sounds like "Gary Searchinsaw" or something similar. The family did not recognize the name nor was it similar to anyone they knew.

Our Conclusion
	While some activity was reported by our sensitive which was backed up by an EMF reading, it is difficult to say whether the activity is paranormal in nature without further study. Unfortunately,  the week after we investigated this home, the family moved and the home was torn down- destroying any chance of further investigation.
